Post-01 : Scientist-B (Forest Protection)
Qualifications
1. M.Sc. in Botany/Zoology/Agriculture/Environmental Science/Forestry/Life Science/Microbiology
2. Ph.D. in any one of the above subjects with doctoral/post doctoral experience in studies on ecology and control of invasive alien species
Desirable : Post-doctoral experience in studies on invasive alien species
Post-02 : Scientist-B (Forest Ecology)
Qualifications
1. M.Sc. in Botany/Forestry/Environmental Science
2. Ph.D. in any one the above subjects with specialization in landscape level analysis of ecosystems/forest fragmentation/corridor studies/connectivity of forest patches/ecosystem modeling, etc. at doctoral or post-doctoral level
Desirable: Post-doctoral experience in any one of the above subject areas
Post-03 : Scientist-C/E1 (Genetics & Tree Breeding)
Qualifications
1. M.Sc. in Botany/Forestry/Genetics and Tree Breeding/Environmental Science
2. Ph.D. in any one of the above subjects with doctoral or post-doctoral experience in Genetics & Tree Breeding
3. Post doctoral experience of 2 years (for Scientist C)/5 years (for Scientist E1) in breeding systems, reproductive biology and conservation
Post-04 : Scientist-C/E1 (Remote Sensing)
Qualifications
1. M.Sc. in biological sciences
2. Ph.D. in Science with specialization in Remote Sensing
3. Post doctoral experience of 2 years (for Scientist C)/5 years (for Scientist E1) in remote sensing in relation to forestry or allied area
Post-05 : Scientist-C/E1 (Forest Botany)
Qualifications
1. M.Sc. in Botany
2. Ph.D. in Systematics of any one of the following groups of plants; Bryophytes/Pteridophytes/Lichens
3. Post doctoral experience of 2 years (for Scientist C)/5 years (for Scientist E1) in taxonomy and ecology of any one of the above mentioned groups of plants
Post-06 : Scientist-C/E1 (Wildlife Biology)
Qualifications
1. M.Sc. in Zoology/Wildlife Biology/Forestry/Ecology
2. Ph.D. in any one of the above subjects with specialization in Vertebrate ecology/Wildlife conservation/Wildlife genetics
3. Post doctoral experience of 2 years (for Scientist C)/5 years (for Scientist E1) in any one of the above areas
Post-07 : Scientist-C/E1 (Forest Pathology)
Qualifications
1. M.Sc. in Botany / Mycology / Plant Pathology / Agriculture / Microbiology / Life Science / Bioscience
2. Ph.D. in any one of the above subjects with specialization in Mycology/Plant Pathology
3. Post doctoral experience of 2 years (for Scientist C)/5 years (for Scientist E1) in Mycology/Plant Pathology in relation to natural ecosystems especially forests
Age: 35 years on the closing date of application for Scientist-B and 40 years for Scientist-E1. Age limit may be relaxed in the case of internal candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC as per the State Government Rules
